BARNES POND SUMMER FESTIVAL 2021 - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please read the following important ticketing and event information, in place both for your safety and well-being, and also to ensure that the event complies with all current local authority regulations.

TICKETING

IMPORTANT: Please do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell, displaying any COVID-19 related symptom or are required to isolate.

Please consider taking a Lateral Flow Test on the day of the event. Please do not attend if you register a positive result. You can order home test kits at www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests

Book with Confidence. If you cannot attend the event for the above reasons, please contact us at info@osoarts.org.uk and we will transfer your tickets to another event or arrange a full refund. If local authority or government regulation requires the event to be cancelled, we will contact you offering to transfer your tickets to another event or to arrange a full refund. When you book, you will be asked to provide a valid email address and contact telephone number so that you can be contacted in the event of cancellation or for any queries about your booking.

We strongly encourage advance booking of tickets. It is likely that the events will sell-out, particularly as social distancing regulations may limit capacity. Any remaining tickets will be available at the event-site box office on the day.

Upon completing your booking, you will receive an email with an e-ticket and a reference number. Please check that your e-ticket shows the correct information and show this e-ticket when you arrive at the event.

For the cinema shows, please check before booking that the film certification and content is suitable for everyone you are purchasing tickets for. Age restrictions are clearly indicated during the booking process where applicable. Please ensure that you read all the information that applies to the show you are booking and bring proof of age with you to the show if relevant.

All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over for all events. Please check the suitability of an event for any children in your party regardless of official age restrictions.

We respect your privacy. We comply with data protection legislation and will not share your personal information for marketing or other purposes unless required by law, for example by NHS Track & Trace. However, this festival has been organised by the BCA and OSO and you will be asked on booking if you would like to be kept informed about future events when you book your tickets.

We recommend that you bring something to sit on (eg blanket or picnic chair). Please note that no chairs are provided except for attendees with disabilities.

Even in the event of inclement weather, assume that the event will still go ahead unless we contact you otherwise, so do check the forecast and come prepared. It can turn chilly in the evenings, so please make sure you bring suitable clothing. Although the event site is lit, we recommend that you bring a torch to provide personal lighting. Please also bring a face covering with you, which you will need when using the event toilets.

On entry, you will be invited to make use of our hand sanitiser and may be asked to take a temperature check. We will be operating an NHS Track & Trace system as required. On presentation of your e-ticket you will be issued with a wristband for everyone in your group. This wristband will enable you to exit and re-enter the site, in particular to make use of the toilets which are sited in the OSO Arts Centre.

Please follow steward instructions and abide by the designated seating areas. Attendees sitting on picnic blankets will be seated in front of attendees sitting on chairs so that everyone has a good view.

Please observe all social distancing requirements and one-way flows throughout the site at all times, including queuing at entry, for the bar & BBQ and toilets, and while seated.

Medical Staff are present at all events. If you become unwell at one of our events please contact your nearest Steward.

Please place all rubbish into the bins provided or, even better, take home with you to recycle.

All alcoholic drinks purchased on the event site must be consumed on the event site and cannot be taken off the site.

Please consider audience members sitting behind you and refrain from blocking their view. If it is raining, please use a rain hat rather than an umbrella.

For our cinema screenings, we are required to ensure age certification compliance on entry and ID will be required for those ticket-holders who look under the age of the film certification.

Similarly, if you look under 25 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you purchase alcohol at the event bar. Please bring proof of ID to show you are over 18.

Please note the organisers cannot be held liable or responsible for any damage to personal possessions whilst attending any of our events.

Please note that the unauthorised use of photographic and recording equipment is prohibited.

…and finally, please note that the right to admission to an event is reserved by the organisers, who may take health and safety, environmental and security concerns into account at their reasonable discretion and may from time to time carry out security searches. Please note that no refunds will be offered to those who are refused entry or ejected from the event on account of being (or appearing to be) under age as specified by the event organiser, declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, intoxicated or displaying other antisocial behaviour (including smoking in no smoking areas), carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances.
